I already talked with TN & Pumpkin, but I felt that I was losing motivation to translate, so I am going to stop. Since of the donations, I will translate my regular chapter for this week, but that will be it. Thanks for all your support, but I feel that I should try to improve my Chinese more, before I continue translating.
I will still be the one posting on TN for LSG probably, doing edits, but translating will be on hold, as I try to improve my Chinese.
Just FYI: I use readers, so I can read pinyin to translate, the problem is that in the long run, this does not benefit me, I need to be able to read characters, so that’s why I am going to try to focus on improving my Chinese the hard way.
P.S. I would like to thank you again for the awesome support and community for LSG! I hope you continue to support it, even after Pumpkin takes over.

hey yaoz, i feel i’ve hit the same problem! at first i was learning a lot but as time passed, i just wanted to get chaps out quick as possible and kept relying more on pinyin than memorizing characters…i plateaued long ago, then started getting carpal tunneling >.> it killed our stockpiling plans…
what was really helping me be true to memorizing characters was trying to straight up read the raws while using the perapera plugin. i can read like 85-95% of it now unassisted, depending on the chap, and even if i dont entirely memorize the characters sometimes just from anticipating the next expression and memorizing approximately how the characters look i can skid by xD sure makes me feel a little more pro going to a chinese restaurant and sticking to the chinese side of the menu LOL (but only for some dishes :P), but theres still plenty more studying to be done. in reality i could probably learn it all in just a few months if i use all the spare time to study…
